I first met Dr. Laila Wah in 2004 when I attended a presentation she gave at the Mind/Body/Spirit Expo at Valley Forge, PA. her presentation of Facial Acupuncture interested me, because at age 52, I had just developed my first wrinkle. She explained that this treatment, also referred to an an "acupuncture face lift", was a safe and effective alternative to other more invasive procedures. A course of treatments consisted of weekly sessions over several months. I volunteered to receive a "mini treatment" at the Expo, because I wanted to see if it would get rid of the wrinkle, even temporarily. I was amazed to see that the wrinkle disappeared, and did not return until two days later... Four years later, after getting through some complicated medical problems, I decided to undergo the full Facial Acupuncture series... I began to see improvement immediately after the first treatment... my skin looked brighter. After the second treatment when I looked in the mirror I was amazed to see I looked younder. Later that day, after disclosing my age to a new aquaintance, I was told, "No one would believe that you are 56. You look so much younger."
